25 Things Your Community Cares About in 2026
Back in 2001, we launched Be Known for Something from the old Krispy Kreme test-kitchen and marketing offices in Winston-Salem, NC. Mark MacDonald had just moved to the United States after serving as Senior Creative Director for one of eastern Canada’s largest advertising and branding agencies.
We started with one goal: help churches communicate clearly so their communities listen.
25 years later, the tools have changed, but the need for clarity hasn’t.
That’s why our anniversary year (2026) is a perfect moment to look back, laugh a little, and learn from what we’ve seen.
Your neighbors carry felt needs every week. When we understand them, ministry communication instantly becomes more relevant.
- Mental Health
- Parenting Support
- Debt
- Safety
- Belonging
- Work stress
- Anxiety
- Loneliness
- Health and fitness
- Marriage struggles
- Kid activities
- Screen time
- Finding purpose
- Healthy friendships
- Time management
- Budgeting
- Stability
- Trustworthy leadership
- Calm
- Community involvement
- Career pressure
- Faith questions
- Hope
- Relief from busyness
- Judgement-free spaces
When you speak to these needs consistently, people listen. Be known for them.
